Armillatox was specifically formulated for the treatment of Honey Fungus - Armillaria mellea.
However a change in European lawn meant that the makers either had to stop advertising Armillatox as a Honey Fungus killer of re-classify the chemical and pay a huge yearly license fee.
Whilst Armillatox cannot now be claimed as a Honey Fungus treatment, it is exactly the same formulation as it was in the days when it was called a Honey Fungus treatment but as a side effect of using the chemical as a soap based garden cleaner, Honey Fungus is also treated.
By washing the lower trunk of a healthy tree with a 20:1 solution of water and Armillatox, a tree or shrub can be inoculated against the 'bootlace' Rhizomes from affecting your trees.
