We seem set for an Indian finale to the summer which means that leaves will cling on to the trees for much longer.
Lack of hard frosts and strong winds will mean a slow but steady fall - it suits some regular gardeners because it means that they can sweep, rake and mow at a pace that suits them. For others, getting it over and done with with one big dump is preferred.
What ever your preference, having the right tool for the job can save you an awful lot of time and energy meaning you can do more of the things you enjoy.

Right tool right job every time with this adjustable multi wrench from Black and Decker.
Black & Decker Powered Adjustable Auto Wrench
I cannot count on one hand how many times that I have reached into mt tool box to get my adjustable spanner while trying to hold a ring spanner in place on a bolt.
Inevitably, while trying to adjust the spanner, my fingers and thumbs messed things up and all the parts I was trying to keep still fell to the floor.

Collecting and transporting of leaves, grass mowing's and hedge trimmings is all part of the gardeners work. It is all very well being able to cut the lawn efficiently but wasting time carting the waste to the compost heap can ruin your whole scheduling.
When I first started in domestic garden maintenance there was not the vast array of garden sundry type of accessories that you can buy today.
Moving waste around the garden involved a wheel barrow (even a heavy oak wheel barrow when I started as an apprentice greenkeeper) or a large square of hessian sack cloth.

Getting electricity to garden sheds that are placed far away from the house is not only challenging it is expensively prohibitive as well.
But we all garden sometimes through dusk into the blackness of early evening so when it comes to putting things away, seeing what you are doing can be hopeless, if not dangerous.
This handy little solar light is ideal for placing just above the shed door or on a post or tree close by for illuminating the immediate area around the door.

Lawn mower breakdowns are irritating at the best of times but irritation turns to anger when valuable work time is lost because you don't have the right tools in the workshop to carry out simple repairs.
Buying a new machine usually brings with it a small tool bag with a spark plug spanner, interchangeable flat and Phillips screwdriver and a spanner (most mower manufacturers fit with one or two standard sized nuts and bolts for simplicity.)
This handy little closable Draper tools set is ideal for those quick repairs at the side of the lawn. What is more, because the lid can be shut and the case carried around, you can be sure not to lose those small sockets or spanners when on the move.
