The clearing action is powerful and effective. A heavy-duty steel auger, sharply toothed for extra bite when dealing with impacted snow and ice, breaks down the snow, pushing it backwards with an Archimedes screw action to a secondary mechanism, a high-speed impellor, which breaks down the smashed snow even further and then disperses it by means of a snow exit chute, literally throwing it metres away.
To clear driveways, parking spaces or walkways effectively and quickly, the working width is a generous 56 centimetres and the intake height of the blower is 41 centimetres, enabling you to push into, and clear, deeper snow.
The snow intake height is finely adjustable, courtesy of snow skids fitted to the front underside of the intake hood. These help the machine slide forward but can also raise or lower the hood, enabling you to clear on gravel or awkward surfaces without picking up and throwing unwanted material.
The snow exit chute has a generous width to enable large quantities of snow to be dispersed and it can be rotated a full 180° so the direction of the snow stream can be changed according to your needs. The chute is constructed from a tough weather and corrosion resistant polymer and rotation control is carried out with a handle, easy to reach from the operating position. Pitch control is also possible by means of a tip handle on the head of the chute. Again, this can be reached from the operating position.
