British lawn mower museum

Budding was working in a cotton mill and set about designing a machine that would cut cloth. Budding told people that he thought the machine could be used to cut grass and set about testing it at night. People thought Budding to be a lunatic but his revolutionary design change the course of history.

The museum was started by ex mower racing champion Brian Radam and is now recognised around the world as one of the leading authorities on vintage lawnmowers.

The museum is the largest import & export specialists in antique garden machinery, and supplies parts, archives conservation of manuscript materials and also values machines from all over the world.

Some of the attractios are: The lawn mowers of the rich and famous; featuring, Alan Titchmarsh's, Diana Princess of Wales and even Hilda Ogden's mowers.
