I was skipping through some lawn mower blogs and I came across this article from the Telegraph from last year - Anyone in need of a lawnmower? - and it got me thinking that this might just be a good year to look for another bargain wasting away on the shelf of B&Q or another garden retailer that may have overstocked.
The credit crunch and the wet August will mean that lawn mowers were not getting a run out so therefore the breakdowns and the renewals would have been down too. It is time to start looking out for some bargains and offers.

Anyone who has a tall hedge has to think very carefully about how they go about it. Teetering many feet above the ground on unsecured ladders or rickety scaffolding is not only hazardous but can be life threatening as well.

Richard Hammond has bought himself one enormous great big lawn that goes with his new castle style mansion in Hertfordshire.
The £2 million pad has formal and more meadow type lawns as reported in the Mail and looking at aerial photograph I would say needs at least forty hours of maintenance a week to keep the gardens in tip top shape.
